Cranberry Sour Cream Coffee Cake

1 stick butter / margarine
2 eggs
1 cup (pint) sour cream
1 cup cut cranberries (cut in half)
1 cup sugar
2 cups flour
1 t. baking powder
1 t. baking soda
½ t. salt
1 t. almond extract
½ c. walnuts (or more)

Cream butter, add sugar, add eggs one at a time mixing in between.  Add sour cream, almond flavoring, mix well.  Add sifted dry ingredients, mix.  Add cranberries & nuts.  Pour into well greased bundt pan.  Bake at 350o for 55 minutes. 

When cool, drizzle with icing.  ¾ c. confectioners sugar, 1 T. water, 1 t. almond extract.
